Having upgraded to Windows 7 on PC just before going on holiday, since I have come back there have been a few connection issures, which have got worse lately.
Using a wireless card (Belkin N+), we keep getting disconnected from the internet, I manage to reload the computer, get 10 mins use before it just seems to turn itself off. I have tried fiddling about but the only solution is to reboot and wait for it to do it again, which is obviously not right.
Anyone else using Windows 7 had this problem? Or does anyone know a solution??
This is really annoying now, tried looking on forums but no real answers have been given out by Microsoft.

Sorry, not going to be much help tbh, still limited troubleshooting time on W7. The one thing that I have noticed about W7 so far is how GOOD the network capabilities are.... OK, try these few things and see how you get on:
Does it turn itself off if the card is disabled?
Have you tried shutting down, and turning off the power at the wall for 20/30 seconds (forces the NIC to reset). If you can easily access the back of the pc, make sure there is no light/indicator illuminated on the NIC before switching back on.
Checke on the Belkin site for your exact model and version number of your NIC to see if there are any driver updates, or that you already have the most recent driver (sounds like this could be likely).
I might be able to help more if we can narrow the field a little.

Could it be because my product (Belkin N+, Model F5D8055v2), does not support Windows 7? Or should it just be the same as Windows Vista - which it was working fine on before?

Are you using the win7 software to control the card or have you installed some Belkin-software to control it? I have a shitty old belkin-card running on one om my ancient laptops running xp. I cant get it to work at all with just the winxp-software, but i gert it up an running with the dedicated belkin software. That might be worth a shot.

Try to install it with the same drivers as you used on Vista.

Try to install it with the same drivers as you used on Vista. I didnt need to reinstall it when upgrading to W7, it just worked.

It could be very likely that it isn't supported by W7, hence me saying if you disable it does it still turn off the PC.

Yup. Thats the one... I bought it only a couple months back! And its working now but just switches itself off randomly. Please tell me there must be a way to get it to support W7.. If not i've gg'd £100.
Unless there is a way I can undo my upgrade and go back to Vista?!

Also, if it is the above one, most of what I said earlier needs to be rephrased/altered!
