Anybody going or thinking of going?

I know Dale's mentioned it in his blog that he'll be there.

I'm vaguely considering going atm...

If you've not been to Galway before you won't regret going.

Best place in Ireland for a night out and they know how to run their poker there as well.

That's code for "I've told the missus I'm going and leaving her with the kid?"

No.  It's code for "I REALLY want to go to Galway.  Now to figure out how I'm getting it past the Missus."

MC is just going to tell her he has got another prop bet on that week and he must not be disturbed for a week, then climb out the window. It is what I like to call manning up and showing them who's boss.

Rofl.

Fortunately didn't have to resort to climbing out the window, the missus has approved me going, either I run good and she's very understanding or she'll be spending my time away with my son's future step dad lol.

Hey I don't really know many of you guys yet other than the ppl I knew before I joined here. But I would really like to go to this event I asked a few of my close poker mates but they didn't seem too keen on a) the buyin or b) the fact it was so close to the DTD Monte Carlo event.
Well I'm going to be playing the Monte Carlo event regardless and I've never played a comp in Ireland before. Judging by your reviews it sounds great so I might come along even if it is by myself to  have a good time and try and TID Cheesy.

Does anyone know where you fly too is it Dublin or Galway? geography isn't my best subject if I'm honest.

Here's a map of the airports to give you a better idea

http://www.gettingtoireland.com/airports.htm

They have links to all sorts of info on that site, but if you get stuck give a shout and I'll do what I can to point you in the right direction.

You fly into Galway man. I'm yet to play in Ireland either...

Yeah shame it's so close to Monte Carlo thing and might have preferred a slightly reduced buy-in, but it's supposed to be a soft field which can only be aided by the # of Stars qualifiers.
