Got my first ever serious virus on any pc yesterday...I have the same anti virus protection on my laptop and pc, but it hit my laptop big time...turns out it was called Anti Virus Pro 2009, and a pretty clever virus it is, I can see a few people falling for this...it actually appears saying it has detected viruses and comes up with a realistic screen...when it itself is the virus, and asks you for $50 + to upgrade...Avast did'nt even detect it...

This great piece of software detected over 100 malicious items where as Avast found 0...http://www.superantispyware.com/

...just read that affilates are making $150,000 a week out of this virus

For some reason the Spyware deleted the main PokerStars program, and now I try and download the link it just says there's an error, so it wont download Stars...do I have to dig deep in a folder or something, cant find anywhere to unblock or what the problem is...

Dino's saying the software flags the ipoker skins up as a false positive.  They haven't been infected.

Quite a lot of them, adware etc and of course the Anti Virus Pro which locked up my computer, and has led to me not been able to download any Ipoker skins, a bit more than 0 then...

i run spyware doctor on my pc/lappy once a month clears about 100+ "threats" each time i run it
none are viruses or trojan or anything dangerous they are mainly cookies

most AVs get rid of all the dangerous stuff you have to make sure they are running and upto date at all times

its too late once they are on your system most times your only hope is a format
