300 thousand units?

No, XFactor was ahead by just 300 at the end of Friday.

Seeing as the price on RATM collapsed at 9.20 this morning, I'd imagine the final figures from yesterday have put RATM ahead.

Ceefax pg 509

McElderry's single, The Climb, is now just 9,000 sales behind Rage Against the Machine's Killing in the Name.

accordding to Wiki, the chart runs from Sunday to Saturday, so it closed yesterday (i presume Midnight) meaning who ever is winning this morning on ceefax has won.

yet Joe's price keeps shortening like made

now:

Joe - 3.6
Rage - 1.25

The final chart is produced at 1.30pm, though I don't think Sunday data is included.

How strange.

It's a very good campaign and good to see that people do care that the same old shite happens every year....but, It is a stange choice of song to go to war with. Basically thousands of people have been told to buy a record to campaign against being force fed X Factor rubbish every year with the chorus of

F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me
F you, I won't do what you tell me!
F you, I won't do what you tell me!
F you, I won't do what you tell me!
F you, I won't do what you tell me!
F you, I won't do what you tell me!
F you, I won't do what you tell me!
F you, I won't do what you tell me!
F you, I won't do what you tell me!

So basically they are fighting against conforming by doing what they are being told to do?

I don't get it

“When you live in a capitalistic society, the currency of the dissemination of information goes through capitalistic channels. Would Noam Chomsky object to his works being sold at Barnes & Noble? No, because that's where people buy their books. We're not interested in preaching to just the converted. It's great to play abandoned squats run by anarchists, but it's also great to be able to reach people with a revolutionary message, people from Granada Hills to Stuttgart."

Apparently Joe is in the radio 1 studio for the chart show today. Going to be hilarious when they tell him he's number 2.

He'll know the result before he goes in and Cowell will have prepped him on what to say if RATM win.
