The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Hello everyone and welcome back to DTD from me and my friend

I'm quite pleased really, the Leicester game at Cardiff has been postponed, which means I can make the re-arranged game for Different League Ground visit number 86, it being a new stadium

That apart, I joined Neil Blatchly at 2.30am last night in a quite protracted defrosting the windscreen process on our respective cars. He, being a balla type, was using an Amex Platinium card to do so with one hand whilst with the other he was trading US College Basketball on his laptop via Betfair. Very impressive. I used my RAC recovery card, and got the job done in exactly the same time. Yah boo to you Blatch!

Always a good day when you finish with one 100 chip more than the oracle.

So glad to get off my first table which was gonna be hard as the blinds got big.

[ ] Being sandwiched between Ben Vinson and John Eames is fun.

I had BV on my immediate right for the last three levels yesterday.

[ ] I thoroughly enjoyed it

[X] I am hoping for a redraw today

Have a few of the pics from last night to put up, as the battery went dead late on

Lets begin with Blatch hmself. Rumour has it that all he has on his IPod is self improvement speeches. As I walked past he was listening to "I must learn how to understand Betfair better".

Toby Lewis and the superlatively consistent Nick Hicks. I expect both to feature strongly today

About 12 hours ago a picture was requested of Jon "LUAFC/Bas" Spinks. Better late than never

First came across Mr Spinks when he played a few APAT events, and he was different gravy then a few years ago. Good winner online I gather, and a prominent member of the EMS forum. I also expect him to be in the shake up. Unfortunately for him though, he still supports Leeds United, which is a cross he has to bear throughout his life.
