Another player going very well is Ashrique Miah. He played the bubble very aggressively and actively and is sitting on 500,000 plus. Mad Turk has been moved to his left, with Toby Lewis a couple of seats further on. Passive it is not.

The break to three tables threw up Paul Ratchford on the right of Wadey Ashraf. It did not take them long to clash and Wadey has just scooped a big big pot, 600k plus off Ratchford showing 99 on a 6-7-A-K-Q board. Judging from the guttural roar that Wadey emitted when he found out his hand was good, this was quite a surprise to him

more on this, its a blind on blind coup and Wadey has called all three streets, having played it soft pre-flop.

Great updates Rich, wp

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Dean Pearson is challenging Wadey for the chip leader, helped by eliminating three players sinced the bubble the last of which when he found KK behind a push with 66

He has 900,000

PLAY HAS NEARLY CONCLUDED FOR THE DAY

Unsurprisingly progress has been slow the last 20 minutes, lots of raise-fold. Stacks still big enough to avoid widespread pushing, a testament to the great structure at play here

Barring last minute surprises, I'll be back shortly to put the overnight chip counts up
