The ratings for this are interesting.

The first ep got 6.5m which sounds quite low. The BBC even ran a news story on it saying it was a drop. The updated figures taking records etc have come out now. 8.9m. That's quite a big jump! And that doesn't taken iPlayer into account either. Considering it's a BBC programme I'm surprised they run the story which makes the situation look worse than it is.

If it's aired then talking about it in here is fair game. Just avoid thread until you watch.

Great ep. I'm assuming the child is River, with Amy being River's mother. Or something.

Yeh that's the gossip. Didn't enjoy it too much for some reaosn

I could elaborate...but I wont Sad

Imna gonna wait til Superduper catches up innit

Well I started to read this after catching up with Walsall then stopped and went off to watch which I've now done so you can elaborate all you like Trippydippyskippy xxx

Also why do the silence 'honour' amy and say the young girl is important, blatently 'honour the mother of thy saviour' syndrome...amy's been feeling sick since the silence made themselves known, yup, three months ago...

And the nurse with one eye in the window tilts me so bad!!!

Okay, so liked today's episode!!! Much clearer, will appeal to the 'random' viewer, had a beginning-middle-end...still not as good as tenant but at least the writings more translucent

Todays episode was excellent.

I liked seeing a bit more of the TARDIS, even if it was only corridors. Nice to see the old control room. We seem to be getting told about the TARDIS' other rooms a lot more recently. I wonder if there'll be any further trips into it.

Be interesting to see if one day we get a female Doctor...

That was just incredible.

One of the best episodes of New Who.

Started off like a Samuel Beckett play then turned into a love story.

I must admit for the first 2 or 3 episodes of this season I have been clueless, no idea what was happening and why. Very abstract and just wtf? to me

Last night's though I enjoyed. Simpler plot, more accessible, and better for it.

This.

Really enjoying this season. Love the season long hints that Dr Who gives (Badwolf in Ecclestons series, Torchwood in Tenants first, You are not alone in the second, Rose in his third, The cracks in Smiths first following up to the silence into this series). The moment they hit you and it triggers your memory of episodes gone by is second to none. Really cool trying to work it out too!

Interesting to see how hes gonna get out of his death though. Really really hoping theyre not killing off Dr Who... They have such a good storyline to stop it ever having to die, would be such a waste to kill it off!

BBC sure will be killing off Dr Who any time soon - it makes a fortune in international sales.
