Hey guys, new to the forum, heard alot about it and thought Id drop in and check it out. Thought Id post up this hand, got me thinking a little bit about the lines I coulda taken in the hand...
Live cash, £1/£2, Straddled £4. £200 Max Sitdown cap
8 Players in the hand
Heros stack: £220
Straddle: £50~
Rest of table: £200 +/- £50
Hero in the SB, very early on in the game so no image yet established. Straddle is a very LAG, weak player.
Action goes: UTG folds, everyone else limps round to me in the small blind (was a bit freaked out here), I look down at

.
Whats your move here? At the time, I figured raising into this many people Im bound to get 2-3 callers and end up playing a big pot, deep in my stack OOP. Didnt really want to shove 100BBs, though could be a good move? IDK. I elected to flat, with the above reason. Good move?
The straddle then shoves for around £50, and gets 3 callers. At this point, I dont really know what to think about the way the pots been played, but with me last to act, figure if I can shove and get past the first man, Im home and dry vs the straddle for about 6:1 on my money. Pretty sure shoving/fist pumping/high 5ing the dealer is the best option, but opinions?
I end up winning the pot after everyone folds and the straddle shows down

and I hold up, but just thought it was a strange one.
Your action when limped to you? Your action when the shove is called around?
