I curreently have a 32" LCD TV in my Livingroom, but since i got HD in ive been looking to get something bigger.

My mate works for Comet and can get 10% anything, but if something becomes Discontinued, he can get up to 50% off.

Ive asked him to keep his eye out for a Discontinued TV if it comes up cheap, was looking for one around 40" or 42"

He called me the other day and said he had one in, but i was a Samsung 50" !!!!! It was £600, but he could get me it for £300!

It looks a bit Big but a Samsung 50" for £300 in unreal

Model name: Samsung  50" series 4 PS50B430P2W

Does anyone else have this, or a similar 50" Plasma? What are your thoughts on a 50"....too big?

The only problem im thinking of is the Power that a Plasma uses up, especially a 50" one!

That a side im pumped and can't wait to see Footy and darts on it in HD!

Do you not find it slightly too big?(as is my main worry) what did you have before a 50", as i fear going from 32" to 50" might be a drastic jump.

My ex has exactly that one (I think, it's definitely a 50" Samsung).

I fitted it to her wall and she sits about 10-15' from the TV and it's fine size wise. A decent enough picture, especially on HD.  Not perfect when dealing with movement (e.g. footy), but fine for £650 (which is what it cost her), and definitely a bargain for £300.

Can you get any more for that price?

It's way too big for your room.

I'll take it off your hands for £250.

You're welcome .
