started for a young poker play named Brian Wilson at the Hard Rock Casino in the Miami, Florida area. Mr. Wilson had just started plaing live SNG'S and had to accept the rath of the local "pros" who always called him  "lucky", "bad", "stupid", even "terrible". Mr. Wilson never took this personal, he just kept taking their $$$$$$$.

On one night Mr. Wilson (soon to be known as the ROOKIE) was on a roll winning 4 straight SNG'S and killing the three local pros in the process! One of the "pros" started in w/ the insults, saying "you cant play this game". The Rookie then replied " you play so bad I could beat you w/ any 2 cards". The next hand the Rookie looked down at  , made a raise, got 2 callers, flop came  three diamonds , checked the flop, the pro pushed all in, the Rookie laughed his ASS off as the pro shows  . It is all about attitude, knowledge, guts, and the belief that you will win Cool

As a sidenote it was great to run into the "pros" in the Bahamas a few months after winning the WSOP bracelet! I listened to them tell their stories about how great they played in the WSOP, WPT and various other events. This went on for about 15 minutes, until one of them asked what the shinny thing on my wrist was .

You have never heard 3 loud mouth poker players be so quite for the next 3 hours, that is, until I busted all 3. I took the chip lead into day 2 of the "small" poker comp that I decided to play just for fun. Sorry "pros", you never had a chance!

Rookie

P.S.   , your  just cant be the hand of choice, its got no style Cool
