Hi all, opinions welcomed to settle a dispute between myself and a friend on how i played this hand.

180 mtt on Stars $10+$1, about 40ish left 20 get paid. Looking to win not limp to cash!

Seat 2: L Tilto (11789 in chips)
Seat 4: Coconut Soda (17246 in chips)
Seat 6: Fishstickkk (27797 in chips)
Seat 7: brainbody (14794 in chips)
Seat 8: denbruut (4812 in chips)
Seat 9: Baccash (11717 in chips)
L Tilto: posts the ante 50
Coconut Soda: posts the ante 50
Fishstickkk: posts the ante 50
brainbody: posts the ante 50
denbruut: posts the ante 50
Baccash: posts the ante 50
Baccash: posts small blind 200
L Tilto: posts big blind 400
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to L Tilto [ ]
Coconut Soda: folds
Fishstickkk: folds
brainbody: folds
denbruut: raises 750 to 1150
Baccash: folds

Raiser has been fairly loose and aggressive.

So the question is whats your play with the Jacks?

Call and assess flop OR,
Re-raise and if so how much? (That's the important bit)

Appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks
Pete

Sounds about right. And if it's a loose aggro player then I'm looking to call a jam, especially given the stack sizes.

4763. No point wasting that extra 50 that Titbeam's putting in.

Villain only has 4762 by my estimation. By betting more than his stack you might make him uneasy as he knows he's playing for his tournament life. I bet 4761 so villain might think he has fold equity and can call and see a flop then asses from there.

But if the flop comes AKQ surely we have to fold if he bets his last chip?

And in doing so we've saved ourselves a chip. Alternatively we might just decide bugger it, throw caution to the wind, and call hoping he's got a lower pair than us.

lol what?

But yeah don't see how you and your friend could possibly share such a difference of opinion on what seems like the most standard shove ever.

I dont normally post, i read the boards a lot tho. My mates view did get bemused i had to get other opinions.
My play was to set him allin (i did not push as thats iffy  Wink) my mate said that was wrong, he said a raise was the play. He was adamant me putting him allin was wrong!! I just cant see it based on the stack size of the raiser and the fact i was the only player left.
