Never mind all that - are there any new fit women players we need to be aware of?

Did you not see the stunner that is 'A. Kleybanova' beat Dokic earlier today?

I mistakenly took a bet on her earlier and said 'So you're laying 'the tank' at x?'

Punter knew what I was talking about.

(no offence to forum poster thetank btw)

How is Henin playing at the moment?  An immense talent and probably one of the most technically gifted female tennis players ever imo.

she played well 2 weeks ago in her last comp, was unlucky to get beat by clijsters in the fianl. After having a few match points to win the game, can she win the oz open? I think she has a chance. Her biggest test will come in the 3rd or 4th(i think) when she comes up against clijsters again, she wins that, I think she can take it.

Henin vs Dementiava next round 3rd vs 4th fave on betfair and Blatch is golden money is on Dementiava.

didnt know Dementiava was Henin next match. going to be a good game.

Henin at 1.96 seems like good value to me. have to have a think about it.

wonder what blatch thinks.

Should be an awesome game and im not suprised to see them go off even money.

Henin looks as if she hasnt been away from the court but she hasnt really been pushed apart from the Clijsters game and she may well crack under the pressure a little or find her shots wavering a bit.  I reallly cant pick a winner here but seeing as some bookies had Dementieva at 20/1 and some at 8/1 to win the comp I had to back her outright - she has a tough draw and if she wins it she will certainly deserve it.

Ana Ivanovic looks like sailing through to the 2nd round but ill be taking her on against her first decent opponent plus laying her in the outright.

She looks awful and her ball toss on her serve, which caused her drop down to 20 in the World last year, is still redic bad.  Anyone good will murder her.

BRITISH WATCH

Katie O'Brien has won 1st set 6:3 against P. Mayr.  What makes me laugh is stats though: -

Aces 0
Winners 0
Double Faults 4
Unforced Errors 8

Well played girls.

with extra being used for other matches
so i go to bed turned radio on and they moved it to 5 live extra as it was late
living in an area without digital radio that messed me up as i hadnt taken my laptop to bed

from now on the bbc is on my hit list

The Verdesco game is heating up well but I wanted to see Mirza play Rezai but its just finished.  This Rezai girl could cause an upset or too - when she hits the ball it simply doesnt come back, over powered Serena for parts of the game a week back and at 500/1 could be a good fun sweat.

Blake v Clement
Gulbis v Monaco could a be a good match
Venus may struggle aginast Lucy Safarova

but the best one is late on Youzhny vs Gasquet could be a great trading game.

few good games to look forward to.

Blake v Clement do you feel that 1.40 for blake is good value to back from the start vs Clement? with the H2H being 6-0 to blake. know Clement had a solid week last week.
