don't mean to be funny but just because it's rush poker doesn't mean you can't have any reads. for example i wasn't even in the pot but i know he isn't sat with a full stack which tells us something.

fair enough  - just checking

i was v tempted to call (but didnt) - but i am trying to omit calling marginal spots when there is easier money to be made.


i thought he could have missed a flush but was trying to represent the type of hand I was playing (i obv had the blocker).

i agree with pritty much everyone else raise flop here, also fold pre given we have no read. if we had a read that he was a weak player then we can call here providing theres no squeeze nut jobs behind us.

I'd raise the flop. It's a dangerous looking board so he'll fold any bigger ace. You also protect your hand against K-Q, K-J, etc. If you're beat, you can still hit.

Folding given the action is fine.  I don't really see what else you can do but it is a definite raise on the flop espec given how many people c-bet as a matter of course these days.
