Remember a "Oxford" and a "Half Oxford" Ralph?

An Oxford scholar=a dollar yes, but I've never heard of a "half-Oxford" in conversation.

What about sprazis ?

That McDonald's pound saver menu advert does my nut in everytime it comes on saying that 'bob' is slang for a pound. I've never heard anyone refer to a pound as a 'bob'.  It's 5p (shilling), innit.

A fiver is a 'lady' as well in CRS, although I've never heard anyone use it much.

Spanner = 50p

Q: Why does a fifty pence piece have flat sides?

A: So you can use a spanner to get 'em out of a Yorkshireman's hand.
