Owen Coyle?? Defo never been put on gardening leave.

He was technically as Bolton and Burnley didn't agree compensation straight away, so they had to do something with him.

It's just another way of saying you're sacked but you can't go and work for anyone else till the end if the season so we will pay you to sit at home, starting to happen a lot now

Not in this case apparently. It's been reported that Brown has an unruly and overgrown rose bush in his garden and has requested time off to get it under control and take advantage of the spring weather to cut the grass.
