I went to see John Cleese with a mate in York last night, we arrived a couple of minutes late and I had to go after ten minutes to put the bet on Barca with bet365 in running. As I'm heading back up I notice a clock with the finish time stating 21:20, I asked if this was right as I'd expected it to be later, seems it was. Tickets where £38 each in total, it started at 19:30 and there was a 20 minute interval, every couple of minutes he would say " here's a clip from such and such time" then walk off and the projector would come on for a bit, if I wanted to watch clips of Monty Python I'd have stayed at home and went on youtube. I thought it was a bit of a rip off and as my hopes of avoiding the result and watching it when I got home wasn't going to be possible with the finish time and our train not leaving until 23:40 I wanted to leave at the interval and go and watch the football, so we did that.

Enjoyed the second half of the football a lot more than the first half of John Cleese, helped that I had a bet on Barca. We just made it too the station in time to catch the train after taking a detour to the garage to get 20 tabs and 8 cans for the train. As soon as we get on the train I pop to the toilet, when I come out there's a couple of lads asking my mate for a can each and he's saying no, one of them then says to me are you starting, "eh, no do you want to like, what you doing" he drops his arse since I seem not to care, I get a bit brave when I've had a few, lol, lucky he didn't call my bluff, he asks if they can have a can for £3 each so we let them.

Ending up staying in town until 4am, had a good laugh, I don't really go clubbing that often anymore so it was canny for a change, lost me phone as I somehow do everytime I go out, I'm such a clown. Apart from that it was a good night.

Yeah that was a bit shit tbh.  Even I know that people from boro aren't geordies even if they do sound the same.

I think you would enjoy it, maybe you should give it a try.

Its all about spray tans and going to the gym n that, true geordies.

Why were you buying 20 tabs for the train?

1. You don't smoke.

2. You are not allowed to smok on trains.

Put in my first proper grind at 100nl today and it went well. At one point I was up 5 bi's mostly due to winning lots of medium/big sized pots vs fish, then had AKdd>>>>>>>AKss all in pre, flop xxxddd and KK v 1010 again all in pre AJ10xQ, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Then, first orbit at a new table I get it in vs the fish with QQ on a J62dd flop vs J7os for 200bb pot, turn x, river 7, sigh. Then ran KK into AA and AK into AA and from 5 bi's up I was up just 1.5. I grinded it back up to just under 4 bi's though and although I had some good tables going and wanted to keep playing I felt pretty shattered so decided to leave it at that for the day.

I really am enjoying playing so much more, I mentioned this a few pages back but literally every session I was putting in playing 45mans I debated finishing early or just couldn't wait to finish a full session, whereas playing cash I've never once thought to myself I wanted to finish early but instead been wanting to grind on longer.
