I had pretty much the dream final table in a 3r today, chipped up 1/9 with no regs and everyone playing super nitty, got hu and thought I was going to still manage to lose after losing cl 1st hand K10<<<<<A2, looked good on the KJ9 flop, turn was Q, river T, sigh. Then got lucky AJss>>>>>AK and ground him down after that and got the win, wiiiiiii. Played 21 3r's today and won 2, got a 3rd in another and 3 min cashes, run good much.

Really pleased with the volume I've got through since getting back to these, ofc it's down to SN though and January is a big month for me in terms of proving to myself I can grind without it being forced, not that I have any intentions of putting the sort of hours I have over the last few weeks, need to find that balance in between, since I started back playing these again on Nov 17th I've played over 250 hours, and then there's all the time I've spent with wiz as well, such sickness. When I started back at these me and James both thought it would be really tough for me to get SN but now I'm a lock to have it done before Xmas as well as taking this weekend off. Looking forward to a few days break now and then try and get the lot on Sunday.

It's by far been the longest period I've ever gone without having a proper session on the drink since I started drinking, it's been pretty much since I got back grinding sngs again so over a month. Obv it makes me sound like a pisshead when I go on about not having a drink but I'm not that bad, I'm not even close to challenge StuartHopkin, I do like to get on it every now and then though. I'm off out at three tmoro with the lads from the factory, then meeting people in the office later on for food then out afterwards, it's going to be fun, haha. I'm sure I'll be making drunk posts on here circa 3am tmoro night, I'm sure you've all missed that

I've got a few staking threads up on here at the minute, don't know why but I was a bit apprehensive about putting the 2nd one up, as in, some part of me was thinking it wasn't right that I'd ask for staking after already having one ongoing. It's a funny thing staking, I have a decent general understanding of it and think every thread I've put up on here has been good value, well maybe not the one where I was a noob and tried to sell @ 2:1 for a 1k comp with no experience but ignoring that one   

Although I do understand and think there is a lot of merits to it, it still makes me slightly uncomfortable; for instance when I know I'm about to put one up I don't say anything to anyone on Skype as I don't like kinda putting people on the spot and making them feel like they have to take a piece, but on the otherhand people can get pissed off that you never said anything then they miss out. When I first started asking for staking it never occurred to me to offer a % to people who'd previously backed me for the same reason I don't mention it on Skype. Then I offered to give everyone first refusal for 10A that had a piece of UKOPS but pretty much as soon as I posted it I thought, that's kinda not fair on the people who missed UKOPS but have backed me previously. Being fair, especially as far as staking is concerned since people are giving me money, is something that is very important to me and although I don't think anyone's too bothered about it, it was something that I was thinking about. So from now on, if anyone wants me to give them prior notice for any of my future stakings lmk via here or Skype etc and I'm going to make a list of people (anymore than 2 and I won't remember ldo) so then those that always invest in me get the chance to do so again, miracles could happen twice

Xmas do was a good laugh on Friday, not much interesting to report though, sure remember the end of the night though. Well there was one slightly interesting story; one of the delivery drivers says to me "I have a couple of friends that want to discuss some business with you", hmmmm, ok.... so this bloke who I've never met before says "I hear your good at poker, I have an offer for you" starts talking about doing staking then says "I'll give you 1/4 million quid" WHAT THE FUCK. I snap say thanks but no thanks, he had no clue about poker and I kind of have a rule that I don't do any poker dealings with people that don't understand how it works, nevermind for that kind of money, he keeps persuing it and I'm pretty drunk at this point so I was starting to get a bit narked so I again politely decline his offer and he starts saying I haven't got the bottle and shit like that, lol. So I inform him, again politely ofc, that money means fuck all to me but I don't do dealings with randoms for that kind of money who have no clue what is involved, the delivery driver guy who's pretty sound must've realised I was getting pissed off so he told him to shut up about it, then says to me you should do it, he's trying to get rid of money so don't worry about the money, O RLY, at that point I bail and go elsewhere to meet others from work.
