Sigh.
Wp.
Think you should go for 10k in a month. You'll have everyone giving you action.
Will be a $5k prop if you do it.

Well done on getting there Ray always good to see Hopkin get it in the eye
Just wanted to ask where you see yourself going with this? I know Tank has packed it in which was his intention for a while and I believe MC has intentions to do something similar (may be wrong on that one as was slightly drunk when told). So assuming you are mid 20's what do you see yourself doing when you are 30 or 40? I ask because you seem to have thrown away what would turn out to be a fairly cosy life (See Bopkin for proof) to grind sng's.
I know you are going to tell me that you didn't like your job and hated sitting in the office etc but I am afraid not many people enjoy their first few years in the profession but it does get a lot more interesting and rewarding as you progress and opens many other doors once qualified etc.
No offence intended, these are genuine questions.
As it stands now I'm basically on a year out with studies/work and then we are going to re-assess around March time next year.My gaffer asked me last month if I wanted to go back full time and I said definitely not.I'm currently 24 and I've never been happier with my working life and although that's obviously going to be the case when I'm running like I am at the minute I can honestly say I felt the same when I was on a 1k breakeven stretch.I'm really enjoying doing this as I say how long it will last is the million dollar question I suppose. The tax issues and ring fencing could cause future problems but as it is and I don't mean for this to sound cocky but I'm not worried about being able to beat the games.Obviously Tank and James,Tank especially I believe have been doing this a lot longer but my options as far as the Accountancy goes are still all available to me.Tbf to myself I generally don't blow my own trumpet anyway, cough cough but I don't actually think I'm that good at my job, what I am good at is learning what somebody tells me to do and doing it and that's how I get by but with the 45mans as this month has shown I'm good at this and I am happy to admit that's hugely satisfying.Maybe this won't last 10 years or even 5 or whatever duration but while it does last and while I'm still beating them then this is what I'm going to keep doing.
The last part you mention is so true, not many people are lucky enough to enjoy what they do and that's why I had to take the risk to try and be one of the lucky ones and so far it's paying off which I'm chuffed about.Who knows what the future holds I certainly didn't think this would be my future this time last year, this time last year I had no roll and had just spunked off all my money in Vegas wiiiiiiiiiiiiiii but I'm happy at the way things look at the minute and hopefully that'll last for a while.
