I've got some pretty big news regarding the pokers, off out now so going to do a Cos and leave it hanging for a fortnight then will post about it. One day I want a diary like Constantine Paperestis'.

excellent diary tekkers imo. thats how he does it. and by arranging every one of his social plans on the thread to boost hits. yours is right up there though bud.

and i think the tanks wife has it right - pull yourself together - you're out with a mate in a pub, unless he or she or they are rele dull why don't you just wanna hang out with them? did my head in the other night when we were all going out like 15 of us to celebrate deadmans deepstack bink and ppl were playing on fruit machines in the bars - was so lame. cant see the upside either, as ppl said, not like you could win a significant amount of money at all.

Normally I only start when they go to the toilet or for a smoke and I get bored very quickly so I either do that or play darts on the quiz machine which I'm actually decent at but it gets a bit boring after a couple of goes.

So, as soon as I played a couple of hours of 1/2 on New Years Eve I knew that in the near future I wanted to move from 45mans and give grinding cash for a living a go, during sessions I've even been thinking about it and wishing that was what I was doing instead of the roboticness ( new word invented FTW) of 45mans. I played cash for a while a couple of years ago and enjoyed it but just hit a bad run then took the rest off and went to Vegas with it, that sure went well. Anyway, I definitely need some coaching to do it successfully and I think one of my best attributes that makes me successful at poker is I have no ego whatsoever, so if someone who I know crushes the games is going to teach me and tell me where I'm going wrong them I'm going to listen. That's how things with me and James went so well, I had a lot of respect for what he had achieved and everything he told me I took in and improved so much because of it.

So I needed to find someone to coach me, I was going to ask Alex again as I know he's a good player but I expected he would just put me in touch with the poker farm and I didn't just want to be another number, then I remembered that Danny Rudd, upthemariners, had offered to do coaching with some people and although I was very tempted at the time I didn't want to move from 45mans when I'd just started doing it full time. So I pm'd him on Monday asking if he was still doing coaching and if he was interested in sorting something out to get in touch. So we spoke for a bit on skype today and he's interested as long as I'm not terrible, I'm pretty confident I won't be Smiley

So I'm going to grind the 45mans until I get the 4k bonus then I'm going to make a video for 40minutes of me 4 tabling .50/1.00 then do a session with Dan and see how it goes, really looking forward to it and hope he doesn't think I'm a clown Smiley

I've already mentioned I have a bit of a soft spot for this lass, It's not in a fancy her, sexual, type way, she's good looking imo but that's not why I like her, she just seems like one of the very few who've made it big and it hasn't turned them into a twat, hope my read is good, lol.

For some reason I keep listening to this song, think this is my twelfth time in a row of listening to it, it is pretty decent tbf.

Think I might sleep now Smiley Nite xx

Why do you want to change to being a cash player? Is it because you think you can make more money at cash or do you just think it will be more interesting? Would be very interested to see how it goes for you. Reckon you would do really well based on what you said here. The no ego and good discipline is very important in a cash pro I would guess.

I think the 45mans are going to continue to get tougher and due to the fact it's not that difficult to find out a profitable strategy to play them I can see the games getting to the point where nobody is making money at them. Also, yeah, if I do well then I could make a lot more money playing cash. I know it will be a lot tougher and I will have to do a lot more work on my game than what is needed to beat MTT SNGS but I'm excited and looking forward to the challenge and if it goes tits up then I'll go back to playing 45mans and we all know I'm just a SNG donk Smiley
