Yeah not massive just hope he makes the final for the sweataments.

Federer never in the equation. Dont have a single reason to back it up as I am not that up on tennis to be honest.

Just preferred to funk for one of the other two. Obv Murray is always a lay Cheesy

GLGL, I don't no that much either but fancy Federer to win it, thought this before Nadal's injury, I was pretty surprised to hear he hadn't won a slam in two years though.

Such a long grind today.

Had plans to go out around 6ish so started at 12, decent start and was up 1 bi then got coolered a few times and was down about 2 bi's at about 5pm, txt them to say poker was pretty meh and if I didn't get out in the next hour then I wanted to grind out of it so wouldn't be coming. It got to 6 and I was now stuck for 3.5 bi's, sigh, plans cancelled. I then rivered nut flush vs a fish, he'd rivered a house, FML. I was stuck over 5 bi's but had 4 decent tables going and was happy I was playing well so kept grinding. Managed to get 2 bi's back winning a lot of small/med pots then had AA>>>>>>>KK, got within 1 bi of getting out but could feel myself starting to get tired and there's always tmoro so finished the session down $160 in the end but still pleased to grind out of a hole and have a much smaller loss. Obv short term results aren't important but I'm glad that despite being down 5 bi's I continued the grind and happy with how I played.

Playing on Stars, would've kept grinding but I could feel tiredness kicking in and no point playing if I'm not 100%. You just concentrate on the live pokers now ?

This seems ridic harsh to me.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/disability_sport/14029170.stm

I have pretty bad asthma myself and from the couple of asthma attacks I've had there's no way I wouldn't be using my inhaler, despite whatever punishment could come. Seems insane to me that she would get a 6 month ban for that. I'm very dependant on mine and most days I struggle with my breathing and really struggle without it. Due to the fact I'm an idiot though, so many times I'm out somewhere and I've forget it, then the slightest bit of exercise, as in walking very short distances and I'm wheezing like mad. I bought a few of them recently so I could have one in every coat I've got and then leave one at me Dads as well so leaves less chance of me ever not having one. I think a lot of people don't really see asthma as any kind of serious condition since so many people have it when they are younger, very mildly, then they grow out of it and I think this also means there's a lot less attention to finding a cure/improving current medications compared to other conditions. Obviously in my case my lack of exercise doesn't really help but the fact that with my inhaler I could play tennis for 3 hours and be fine but without it I could walk for 30 seconds and then struggle to breathe for the next few hours, at least, is really frustrating.

hmm, seems to me that she had a clear choice.

1; don't take the meds and die.

2; Do take them and be banned for 6 months.

When you have to take that type of medication you probably simply can't be a top athlete.

Nothing harsh about it, really..she just needs to find another sport to do or accept that when you take your meds you can't practice your sport for a while.

I don't know what effect sabultamol has but does that basically mean if you have asthma then you can't compete in any sport at the top level or is it just the doping agency for athletics that would charge you ? You don't think that's a bit harsh ?

There is evidence that it can help to dramatically improve athletic performance as well as helping to contribute to anabolism.

So, effectively, yes it means you can't compete at the very top level continuously.

No I don't think that's harsh at all. I can't become a fighter pilot because I wear glasses (obv various other reasons as well) you can't become a top athlete because of your asthma. It's the way of the world.
