Just bought tickets for all four days of the 4th Ashes Test next summer at Durham, going to be abs incred. Think the 4th test is definitely the best to go to as well so handy that it's at Durham. Going to all four days with Longy and have four tickets for the 2nd day which me Dad and his mate who I go to the football games with is coming, #soexcitedalready.

Obv I was planning to go travelling next May but one it's the Ashes, and two I'm joke bad at saving and the ticker's not going to be moving above 0 for awhile so meh, noticed the other day that the ticker was gone from my sig, not sure how that happened, will fix it for japes of it never moving above zero.

any reason why durham got it ahead of Edgbaston? like 10k more capacity there isn't it? or even Headingley.

had a look at buying, and saw it was £80 per ticket. that the price you paid?

will be trying to get some for the opening test!

No idea why which grounds got them and others ddn't.

Yeah I paid £80 per day, think it's pretty reasonable price considering length of time you're there and how big an event it is.

Probs only go to the Durham one, I'm not really a huge cricket fan tbh, like horse racing with Cheltenham, I just abs love The Ashes and there's a load of things I want to do once and a full test during The Ashes was on that list.

80 quid for a fucking ticket? wow that is fucking sick! I'm a massive cricket fan and was going to buy some for a couple of days, they can go and do one at that price, taking the piss or what  Angry Angry Angry Angry

It was £80 for tickets the last time Ashes was here. I think it's a fair price, any football game a ticket costs £40 and you're there 2 hours, this is England's biggest series and only happens once every two year and you're there 8 hours.

Totally disagree mate, I hope its just your ground taking the piss, £60 is the usual max for places I go, usually end up paying 40-60. If they stick it up a fiver fair enough, but any more is taking the piss. Yeah I know 'its only 20 quid extra' but if we all just shrug our shoulders its gonna be £100 plus next time around.

I know it will sell out, but it will just push the real fans away and it will be mostly plastic fans for these big events if this is the way forward. Football is not a good role model to follow.

Edgbaston was £80 last time, highly doubt either of the London one's will be <£80.

I'm happy paying £80, I'm no die hard fan but wouldn't call myself a plactic fan either.
