they died on the beech, it was a kinda surreal look back at their lives as they went off the cliff moment.

Ah thanks.

Sherlock. Loved it. Amazingly written. So many little references to the original story. Just wonderful.

Roll on Sunday for the next one.

I really like JLM, so have had this on the list for a while, but never bothered watching because there are only a couple seasons.

I'm watching Rome at the moment, but might take a side of Sherlock alongside a couple others once I'm done with it.

The scripts are written by two fans who happen to be supremely talented writers. It really comes through. I'm a big fan of the books and the Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce version of the thirties. This is a completely different take on it all. I can't recommend it highly enough. I've seen a lot of guff versions of the stories and the popularity of this adaptation tells a lot.

I'm starting to sound a bit...yknow... Dave Shoelace Breaking Bad... so I'll stop the gushing praise. Essentially, it is good. I'll be surprised if you don't enjoy it.

Ha, you are already passed Breaking Bad, but I wouldn't worry too much, I feel the same way about Friday Night Lights Smiley

Sherlock has been bumped up the list, and I'll endeavour to get started in the next couple weeks.

In tonight's Sherlock, Mr Holmes says the line "Why this particular Grenadier?"

The guardsman he is discussing is clearly a Welsh Guardsmen (5 button blocks and a white and green plume in the bearskin)

Surely they can't have made such a basic error?

You've ruined the show for me now. Sad

Think I am just gonna stick with Mrs. Brown's Boys on loop.

Literally anything other than that. Maybe the new Birds of a Feather episodes? Even the reruns of Gimme Gimme Gimme on Gold.

Sherlock is still a majestic piece of television. I can only assume there was a problem with filming that scene on the day that meant a late change in wardrobe and they didn't re-shoot the dialogue. I can't imagine for a moment it would have been scripted lazily without being sourced, knowing how pedantic some Sherlock fans are. (Shush!)

Did you go on a Sherlock forum to find out about the mistake, or are you going from your general knowledge? Both are pretty incredible for separate reasons. Immediately going to the forums after the show, or worse, in show while you're watching and typing at the same time, or you having a pretty astute knowledge for military wear.

You see I take myself on as a bit of a Sherlock myself Smiley

Thought the whole episode was a bit of a huge love in and even though I enjoyed it, I very much doubt it is going to be like that again.

I happen to know the difference between the various guardsmen attire. I did go back after the episode to check before I posted. I don't do Sherlock forums or anything like that.
