Cant believe we agreed on something

GG Homeland, you had a great run.

Without a rewatch, I think that was my favourite season.

Do you need to watch previous seasons to watch this one? Think I lost interest after about season 3 or 4.....

Think you'd get away with watching just this one, but having seen the lot would help tie a few things in.

Was some manic stuff in the middle seasons, but they're still worth watching. Not like we've got lots of socialising to do atm Cheesy

Yeah, they did a good job. Usually the final seasons are the weakest, but this was great.

We're lucky they didn't get shut down just before filming the last episodes like most shows.

+1 to this, a wee bit annoying that they are releasing a couple of episodes at a time.

Tiger King!

A fked up story of ego’s, rivalry and backstabbing in the world of exotic animal keepers in the US, there are more twists and turns than the Monte Carlo rally. Only half a dozen episodes or so and worth a look for something a bit different.

I thought this was a typically funny sketch about it:

Yeah, not sure I’d watch it before watching the series though, too many spoilers and will take away some of the wtf’s!

Amazingly good is Tiger King. See there's prices on who plays Joe and Carole in the movie. Laura Linney and Sam Rockwell (not quoted) for me.

The Innocence Project - Netflix

Another series focusing on the injustices of the American Justice system. At least, in this case, every story has a fairly happy ending. I hadn’t expected to see forensic odontology as a target for improving justice, but once you’ve seen & heard Dr West you’ll know it’s the right call. The sheer volume of requests for help (over 1,000 every year) to the Project is frightening, particularly when you contemplate the amount of work that they must do to overturn a guilty verdict, and the amount of effort made by the prosecutor and the police to stymie their efforts - if only to save face and the cost of being sued.

I love this kind of documentary. The righting of wrongs, the humility shown by the victims and indeed their legal saviours, and finally the joy they share upon freedom always gets me welling up. So, I’m biased, but it’s “A Big Fat 10” from me.

You'll probably enjoy the Kalief Browder story on Netflix if you haven't already seen it

Just one Ep into this and its done really well, look forward to the rest. Think it's pretty easy to enjoy whether you're a basketball fan or not, like Senna which was focused on motor sport I think.

prob mentioned before but re-watching

Man in the high castle   as i haven't watched season 4 yet

incred combination of alternative history with a bit of sci-fi thrown in where the Nazis and Japanese wont the second world war..

some of the scenes are quite chilling like American school kids instead of the morning pledge to the flag each morning pledging allegiance to Hitler & the Reich ..

Makes you think what if ?

Anyone seen Gangs of London?

Promising start but faded very much into carnage and unrealistic shootouts and terrorism.

Episodes 7 and 8 are particularly awesome in my opinion. I can’t expand on why without spoilers but it’s great TV.

Just watched 7 and 8 yesterday. Really is brilliantly done and the cast of characters are great fun to watch.

Also watched a sports doc about Bobby Robson. Don't know if that's been mentioned here but it's another really good un.
