Hey do you know is there anybody from sportingbet that frequents this forum?Huh?

basically signed up for sportingbet as mate from work told me about the new acca refund promo they do where if you get stuck for one pick outta 5 you get your dough back- so went onto oddschecker to see what deals they have: says on front page deposit £50 get £50 bonus- seemed like a decent deal to me!

Anyway done all that and signed up via oddschecker affiliate link- http://www.sportingbet.com/t/affiliate/horse_lp.aspx?affiliate=ia_com&pname=a_28561b_5227c_11184

Sorry mods if thats not allowed-please delete if so and just go to oddschecker home page

Basically they only gave me a £25 bonus as they said thats the promo they are running now NOT £50 but my argument is that the link is a sportingbet URL rather than oddschecker so they should honour the £50- I genuinely didnt even realise they werent running this deal anymore but this link still says £50 deposit bonus on a sportingget URL- I also wouldnt have spunked £50 if it had only been a £25 bonus

Do I have a leg to stand on?

As a general rule if you are looking to open accounts around now, wait until Cheltenham Festival week.

Many bookies give great introductory bonuses that week.

Ladbrokes gave £400 of free bets for a £100 deposit a couple of years ago!

As for Sportingbet, I'm not surprised. They are second only to Betfred as the worst excuse for bookies in this country.

I like the sportingbet website/layout etc, but a couple of times theyve mistakenly counted bets as lost when infact they obviously hadbt, although they were sorted pretty quickly.

I've sure if you badger them with a couple of emails, £25 is obv nothing to them compared to what perhaps you will donate to them in future (just generalising, you may be the next templegate  Wink  )

Did me out of £25 a few months back, sent me an email asking me to come back and place a £25 bet and they would give me same value free bet, followed all the steps asked, after complaining still no £25 free bet they gave me an excuse why i didnt qualify, proved that was wrong and so they gave me another excuse, 3 or 4 different excuses, lost my temper and told them where to go. cheeky gits still sent me promotions ,phone calls and emails never had any effect, i rate them the worst bookmaker in the country.never again.

Your right if they look at the bigger picture they'd realise I'm likely to spunk off a lot more than I win being a casual punter but anyway got a response today(after 4 days):

Good Morning Stuart,

Thank you for your email,

You are right this link is still active and therefore I am happy to honor this for you.  I have now credited your account with another £25.

Good Luck with it

Kindest Regards,

Thank you...just dont know how the dousche I had speakin to on live chat couldnt do that in 1st place- he should look at his job title- customer service agent!!! Rather than awkward dick agent!!!
