Pedigree? Considered early 2yo or nursery prospect?

Adrian Swingler was featured on a programme where he persuaded people to invest in shares in a racehorse, then purchased the horse on his credit card. Link here to thread on Money Saving Experts, the thread is titled Repossession.

Obviously any of you who are seriously looking into buying shares in a racehorse are obviously all smart enough to ensure you have covered all angles to ensure a. you are not ripped off and b. you are not ripped off, so I'm sure any interested parties have already done their homework here.

Owning a racehorse for even a month is not cheap by anyone's standards. Be sure you can afford any extra costs that may arise and have thought about the horse's future after 12 months - racehorses don't live in fields guys sorry.

Hi Barry

It says his name on page 4 about half way down. Google his name and there are plenty of similar threads about him, some connecting him to poker but most connecting him to the TV programme he appeared on a couple of years ago. Did you know him then?

Couple about his furniture shop burning down in 2004 as well.

The second link wasn't about his colours, the search was the result of a search on his name as an owner.

kames Park is currently owned by Future racing (Notts) Ltd.

Google Future racing and it immediately auto links with Richard Guest but haven't found a mention of furniture salesman Adrian in connection with them.

Future Racings stats on Racing Posts are here - http://www.racingpost.com/horses/owner_home.sd?owner_id=178851

kames Park is listed for sale on Richard Guest's website - http://www.richardguest.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=67

Still can't see Adrian's name. However I'm not great at finding things on the net, I'm sure there are some internet whizzes out there who know how to dig stuff out. I'm just pointing out the obvious stuff in the public domain.

Just for my own personal entertainment, on one site Adrian was described as a Davro lookalike and having a small nob. Should point out here I don't know this man and don't have any axe to grind, just found that amusing. I mean who on earth would imagine Bobby davro has a big nob anyway?

Several incoming PM's this evening suggesting it would be wise to urge caution on this - but I'm sure you all know that anyway, particularly if you have any knowledge or experience of syndicated rasehorse ownership.

"If in doubt, speak to anyone in the industry who is well connected", was the advice being generally dispensed, & that sort of makes sense - a Poker Forum is not the place to buy or sell syndicated racehorses.

However, I don't imagine any of you were seriously contemplating it.

This is no reflection on Adrian Swingler, either.
