there is an omaha event planed for the 28th of december more details as soon as i get confirmation for the sites involved

i will arange a hi/lo comp in the new year

My rule of thumb is I only re-raise with AAxx type hands if..

1/The raise would be large enough to get 70% of mine, or all my potential opponents, stack in before the flop.

AND

2/My AAxx has to contain at least one suited ace.

i agree with rule 1 i dont with rule 2

my rule 2 is only if i feel i can get the hand HU as the value of AA goes rapidly downwards when you are playing more than 1 oppo so rapid that it becomes a -ev play

AA 92 4suited is still a winner v most of the best none AA hands and therefore its still a +ev play to get in all in preflop

the few times you are a slight dog there is already too many chips in the pot by the time you work that out to make folding a +ev play so again you have to get the chips in
