Only heard good things about Iberico but not been

Zaap - really Woodsey, i respect you as an authority on all things Thai, I know it is nicely done out inside but I thought the food and service was shite

Red Dog Saloon - http://www.nottinghampost.com/red-dog-saloon-given-one-star-food-hygiene-rating/story-29973001-detail/story.html

Petit Paris is always good

Calcutta is by far the best curry, cant believe i have never bumped into you there Evil'Tikka'Pie

Annies - so overhyped, always serving cold average burgers

I would add

Oaks for Steak, Cocktails, Live Music
Reds over all the smoke house style places
Mandarin for an out the way Chinese where Chinese people eat
Baresca if you cant get in at Iberico
Picollino if you want overpriced but nice Italian

Since when do you need to bump into Matt to have a curry together?

Disappointed Stu! How whipped are you!?

We're down the road in Derby. Not much here, although we don't go out much.

Definitely want to go to Reds in Notts. Interested to still how this thread goes

A guy in my team where i used to work writes his own Nottingham food blog. Its 100% independent. He gets offered free dinners all the time in turn for favourable reviews but always pays his way to keep it unbiased.

Absolutely amazing. Portion sizes were spot on and the food was some of the best my unrefined palate has ever eaten.

If you get the chance, go.
