Might be going in a few weeks with a couple of friends, going to Hong Kong which I've been to a few times so I'm OK with info on that. Doubt I'll get to play poker as going with non-gambling friends but any info on stuff to do and good places for a piss up would be useful.

Ta in advance

lan kwai fong is where all the tourist goes for nightlife.
mong kok is a good place to buy cheap tat. fake goods etc. Make sure u negotiate the price down to atleast 40% because they will rip u off.
central is a nice shopping place with loads of designer stuff and random hot chinese birds

tst is good too for shopping eating.
big budda is pretty cool
disney world
ocean park
victoria peak

as for macau
venetian is a good place golden sands grand lisboa.
lots of hookers will come to u if you flash some cash or gamble high

portugese tarts are pretty tasty and curry crab
almond biscuit things are nice when fresh.
there should be loads on this hill leading to this building thing.

Was there about 2 years ago.

Ferry ride from HKG was bloody scary, you hear about incidents in the South China Sea i thought i was going to be a statistic,go on a calm day.

Macua tower thing was pretty good seeing the photos of people climbing to the top and walking round the edge were amazing.

Venetian was a much bigger version of the one in Vegas, gaming floor was very impressive, very high stakes blackjack and baccarat. It's quite a way away from the rest of the casinos but cabs were very cheap.Don't know if other things have been built up around there now.

Other casinos all right next to each other,Wynn was really nice,Grand Lisboa was the smokiest place i've ever been and thats a smoker saying that.

2+2 has a thread showing the casinos spreading poker now.

Overall worth a couple of days, mad Chinese gambling everywhere and it felt a little seedy but i didn't feel unsafe, very different feel to HKG.Pain in the arse gambling with HKG dollars and cashing out with Macau what ever they weres.

Nice stamp in the passport.
