STILL STANDING
Josedinho - Northampton v Darlington nosey-p - Northampton v Darlington sovietsong - Chelsea v West Ham sweet potato! - Northampton v Darlington Shawrie85 - Brechin v Arbroath
Rules
1. You must select a team to win in any game from England (EPL down to League 2) or Scotland (SPL down to 3rd Division) each weekend. International/Cup weeks may be void.
2. The game must be a Saturday 3pm KO.
3. You cannot select the same team twice.
4. All selections to me by 12pm on the Saturday. I will then post selections on the public forum. If you forget to pick a selection, you are eliminated. You are also eliminated if you pick a team you have selected in a previous week; PM me after 12; or chose a team not in a 3pm KO.
5. If your selection wins, you move on to the following week. If your team loses or draws, you are out.
6. If in one week every player loses then a rollover will occur and all of the initial players will have the option of paying $20 to be back in the game. No new players may enter.
7. Game finishes when only one player remains.
8. Absolutely no deals.
9. It is now your responsibility to send enough selections to guarantee you have a selection in a game that is not postponed. You will not be given the option of picking a selection on the Sunday. Send as many selections as you like but ensure they are ordered in the PM. If the game involving your selection is postponed then you will lose.

Does anyone think it would be any better if we had to pick 2 teams every week instead of 1, might clear out people alot faster and make it more interesting.

Maybe if there wasn't the chance of rollover but with that i don't think you can change the rules. If somebody picks a winner every week for 10 more weeks they shouldn't be thrown into the pot waiting for a rollover just because they couldn't pick a 2nd pick when the others didn't have to.

Tbh i kinda meant for the next one, its obv too late in the day to change the rules in this one.

Not sure why there is so much talk about changing things, it works very well as it is. It already must involve quite a lot of work for scotty and adding other complicated rules will just up the admin.
This is a bit of fun, you pick a team every week and on we go. If you have been knocked out and can't wait until the end of this one why not put a bet on?
Might stop the urge to post on this thread week in week out saying 'this is taking a long time'
