Rumit Somaiya has been mortally wounded

He raised with 10-10 and a "Cake Poker branded Scandie" re-shoved him for 48,000 more

"I had to call, his image was horrible"

So 10-10 was up against 9-J off.

flop 4-9-9 and Rumit is philosophical but short-stacked

Marc McDonnell as noted earlier has managed to demolish his top 5 stack. I didn't catch his oponent's name or ID number under a mountain of chips but McDonnell called a raise in the blinds

check called pot sized bets on a  two hearts board

Checked the river and faced a 100,000 river shove. He called after a dwell for the ages and mucked when the raiser showed

Lots of disbelieving of Flushing boards/scare cards going on today!

Marc McDonnell now out

With the board reading - three diamonds . Yann Dion, who is a Wanderer,  led out for 9,700, prompting 2003 Irish Open runner-up Frank Cruess Callaghan to push the remainder of his stack over the line. Dion called without hesitation, and we had a showdown of:

Callaghan: -

Dion: - three clubs

Dion had taken the lead on the turn by making trip threes, rendering Callaghan’s Queens almost useless. With only two cards left in the deck that would turn the tables for Frank, the assembled crowd saw a river of the  , giving Dion a Full House, and sending Frank Cruess Callaghan to the rail.

It's tournament Heart goes on time for Dion

Apologies that apparently I was just shown on the live feed. I do hope you were not eating, or had warned watching children in advance

They were giving out about the Lad across from you who had gone to McDonald's and not brought any back for them.  Yer safe.  He's off Rebecca's Christmas card list.

Ben Dobson is still in, but has been nursing a short-stack all day. He recently re-raised all with A-10 and ran into A-Q only to river a 10. He is up to 33,000

I gather Ben is/was a student at Nottingham Uni and plays at DTD
