PaperTits Up?
I arrive at GreekStein's table just as he forgets to put in his ante and tells the dealer "Sorry, I am on tilt"
Uh Oh, I think to myself as I notice his stack has taken a hammering
On the next hand he makes it 2900 at 600-1200, the small blind Paul Carr re-raises to 10,000 and Cos dwell-tank-for effect-folds
I gingerly walk round to him and beckon him towards me, in part to get the story but in part to give him a minute's break to cool down
"What happened?" I Ask
"I triple-barrelled half my stack off" he says mournfully
"I raised pre to 2900. Big blind (Patrick Birmingham) peeled.
I bet 3900 on the
flop and was called
Turn was
. I put him on the flush draw and decide I have to fire again. 7700, and I am called
The river bricks the flush draw
and I have to go again for 16,900. I am called by
"
A few seconds pause and I say "So what did you have?"
The silence that ensured is an eloquent testament to a hand so poor that he couldn't even bring himself to say it to me
Time to re-group, but is he mentally together enough?

The 1997 world snooker champion Ken Doherty just knocked out Feldman
Feldman had JJ and a short-stack in early position, Doherty found was Aces in mid position and flopped the set to snooker Feldman and get a big break up to a 70,000 stack, right on cue.
I'll give it a rest now

Przemyslaw Misztela has just been eliminated. He got his stack in before the flop with 99, only to run into the KK of British player Rob Jarrett-Smith. The Kings held up on a board of A-5-Q-2-8, and Misztela was sent to the rail in 155th place.
Misztella nevertheless has the considerable consolation prize of being awarded "Mr My name is Scrabble-tastic" by the blonde Poker updaters. He wins absolutely nothing but the gratitude of myself.

Stuart Rutter comes across a Nutter, sends his heart aflutter
Stuart Rutter raises to 3,000 utg, blinds 600-1200
Michael Mazilu next to act announces "All in" for 90,000. Michael is European, wearing a bright Ferrari F1 Jacket, sunglasses and has the sort of spray on orange tan that suggests that if in doubt, you should call him
Stuart asks him "So you have Ace-King"
Michael says "Yes"
Stuart visibly flinches, laughs and I think he believes him, anything is possible Stuart's body language is saying
Stuart eventually says "I have to call" which with Q-Q, 20,000 left and the blinds going through he probably does
Mazilu the Ferrari man flips Ad10d, misses and Stuart doubles up to 50,000

Nik Persaud just knocked out Iwan Jones and is currently on a heater. Iwan only had about 18k but had AQ against Persuads QQ. Now on circa 70k.

On a board reading:
James Mitchell bets out 15k with about 70k behind. With about 15k already in the pot, his opponent folds.

Nik Persuad and The Camel now flank the dealer, each with 90-100k stacks. Good news for them, looks like they are getting a +EV dealer change

Brian "BAM" Martin shoved the hi-jack and Toby Lewis re-shoves the button
BAM has nursed his short-stack, and has a 12,000 stack
Brian 8-6 suited
Toby A-Q off
Queen on the flop sends BAM to the rail and Toby back up to a 50,000 stack

The excellent James Mitchell, 120,000 now. Consistently successful player, likely to go deep imo
