Obv with 8 tables playing hand for hand it is kinda sloooooow.
We have had our first all in and call. It was raised in early position to 5,200. Called by one of the chip leaders Janne Nevalainen. His neighbour Esref Govsa with 35k more went all in. The original raiser passes and Janne is left to dwell, not really wanting to call. I think his chip stack dictated his eventual call plus possibly the fact of 5 TV camera's shoved in his face. Anyway
Janne had
Esref had
The board came
with some ooooooo's from the crowd, then
Esref doubles and the bubble continues with 2 more still to bust.

Anders Rasmussen pushes in and v v v v short stack Fiona Craig calls all in for her 1x bb
Anders
Fiona, inevitably,
board
..she needed to hit her set!
Play is obviously super slow with 8 tables hand for hand and very curiously the clock has not stopped hand for hand, which must penalise the medium and less than medium stacks for when hand for hand is over

Anthony Reilly pushes with Aces
Jannie Neuvelainen makes another interesting call with Jh9h
board comes 5-7-7h-Qh-5h and Reilly is out in 74th
Now the real hand for hand can start!

Cos seemed to be flowing and taking advantage of the bubble, with 10k here and there he bumped his stack up to 127k.
Then this happened:
Ben Roberts raised to 6k in middle position, Anthony Kennedy calls in the hijack, COS bumps it up form the bb to 16,900.
Ben passes and Kennedy insta calls Cos.
Flop:
its check by Kennedy, Cos bets out 10k, Kennedy goes all in for another 16k more. Cos passed!!
Kennedy showed pocket eights for the set!

Fiona Craig all in again AK for 2x bb, Q-9 calls her
flop 8-J-6-7-
double belly buster to knock her out....
river 7
she goes to 4x bb. She is an Irish player who qualified by winning a Live Pub league. She is shaking with nerves and I am rooting for her big time. €4k looks like it is a fortune for her

Is it normal to leave the clock running when we seem to be getting 1 hand every 10 mins?

This was my question half an hour ago
even I, a mild mannered janitor, would be turning into Hong Kong Phooey at the table if below ave chips and watching a whole level fade away....
