Surely if two players go out on the bubble from seperate tables they split the prize money? What does how many chips they have have to do with anything?
What difference does it make that they were on different tables? Pretty sure you don't get a chop on stars if this happens.
[/quote
if 2 people go out on the same hand then surely the person with most chips at the start of the hand gets the cash??

surely a level?
No...
The whole point of hand for hand (apart to stop stalling etc) is that you can determine the order in which players get knocked out. If two people get knocked out on different tables on the same hand then they should both be given the same position and split the money. If two people go out from the same table then obv chip stacks come into play due to the order in which the pots get awarded.
Was my understanding of it anyway.

The bubble situation has been so bizarre and mental I'll try and explain it.
On Camel and Ste Kings table, Michael Odderskjer had passed for 2 hours and left himself with 1 BIG BLIND - 3K.
He technically CALLED all in with his 3k &
even though he had another 5 hands until the blinds got to him. Obviously the hand went 4 way (button, sb & bb) and they all checked it down to the river. Board was:
Ste King flipped his cards over and already shown that he had
for top pair. The shortie now knows he is OUT but the TV wont let him leave because they wanted to set up the live feed. It must have been 10 MINUTES they made that poor bloke wait at the table. He hadn't actually turned his hand over until he was told too after all that time.
Upon showing his Q4 off, mouths dropped. Pah, oh well.
Michael Odderskjer is the actual bubble boy.
i am getting up and going unless offered 4k to stay

Bubble Boy Michael qualified through a freeroll on Bwin. His total wins ever to this day are $1400 he says. This tournament meant the world to him. He goes home with nothing but the memory of Liam Flood's smile after he hesitated for a moment before the cards were shown down…

Liam Flood is our chip leader
His behaviour around the bubble was odd. Perhaps he has reached the age where he doesn't have to care
There are two simultaneous all-ins and Michael is knocked out with Q-4. Liam has already called the all-in on the other table but the TD prevents the cards being turned over, preferring to resolve the other table all in first
Michael leaves the table and Liam strides across the room to shake his hand before returning to his table
The flop there has been dealt about 8 minutes previously and is K-7-4 all in and Flood called
The all in shows 9-9 and Liam turns over a Jack. Delay, silence, and he turns over a King
Other short stack leaves, 4k richer, but out.
Liam serene, unruffled and in charge.

65 left as post bubble things have speeded up
Maria is pacing the room checking the latest counts and news.
As Girgles says Stu Brownson's great run has just ended on the feature table and Ken Doherty was knocked out by Sofia Lovgren, top pair versus flopped straight
Sofia is as rocky as a very rocky thing, but infinite patience.

With about 15 mins left of play, I did a quick check on the biggest stacks I could find.

I probs do this, though I maybe peed off enough to stand in front of the tv camera and let the viewing audience know that had been forced to wait 10 mins for this bs. See if they want to put that in their show.
