I am only in for 50BB (bankroll problems) - Villain is 22/22, SB like 37/13, and I prob have tightest image at table being a short stacker. I flat the raise as I don't want to 3b JJ in case it folds out hands I beat but I know what I don't want to see on flop...

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($110)
BB ($114)
UTG ($105)
UTG+1 ($101)
Hero ($58.55)
BTN ($112)

Dealt to Hero

fold, UTG+1 raises to $3, Hero calls $3, fold, SB calls $2.50, fold

FLOP ($10)

SB checks, UTG+1 bets $7, Hero calls $7, SB folds

TURN ($24)

UTG+1 bets $16

I flat flop thinking he plays the A slower and SB could have junk like 8 rag and fist pump snap if I raise now. SB gets out of way and villain fires again. What do we think, nines+, two bits of paint? And do I just get it in now even if I think I'm miles ahead?

+1

50bbs is an awful stack size imo.  I played it looking for points on stars and was always getting into awkward stack size situations and preflop coolers.  If you 3 bet pre here which you should against this player, he is unlikely to flat with a speculative hand because he isnt getting implied odds and 4 betting is pretty much commiting, so he is unlikely to make much of a mistake - maybe he could call with AQ.  Flop play is difficult if you 3 bet with a 50bb stack - any bet commits you and your stack is usually about 1.5 times the pot, so once again its you thats likely to make a mistake rather than villain in these situations.

You played this hand pre presumably looking for a good flop and havent got it, so I would just fold.
