Decided to go with Ding @8/1 with Boylesports also refunding stake if Selby wins.   Some sites like betfair offer     Playing really well lately, culminating in a china open final 2 weeks ago.  Now i feel has the confidience and belief that he can beat anyone and no fear.    I think now is his time to shine.

Higgins not playing well lately but obv capable of changing that in this tourney.  Obv we don't know what Ronny will turn up.  And if Selby does win we get our money back.

had a little nible on Mark Allen @20  also playing decent lately and certinly not lacking in confidience.

Yeah thanks, in most places, doubt he'll get any bigger...

Boylesports refund all singles if Selby wins it, nice little extra...

Jamie Burnett & Maguire 'reffered to prosecutors'.  What does that mean?

FIRST ROUND (best of 19 frames)

John Higgins (Sco) v Barry Hawkins (Eng)

Mark King (Eng) v Steve Davis (Eng)

Neil Robertson (Aus) v Fergal O'Brien (Ire)

Marco Fu () v Martin Gould (Eng)

Ali Carter (Eng) v Jamie Cope (Eng)

Joe Perry (Eng) v Michael Holt (Eng)

Ding Junhui (Chn) v Stuart Pettman (Eng)

Shaun Murphy (Eng) v Gerard Greene (NI)

Stephen Maguire (Sco) v Stephen Lee (Wal)

Peter Ebdon (Eng) v Graeme Dott (Sco)

Mark Allen (NI) v Tom Ford (Eng)

Ryan Day (Wal) v Mark Davis (Eng)

Mark Selby (Eng) v Ken Doherty (Ire)

Stephen Hendry (Sco) v Anda Zhang (Chn)

Mark Williams (Wal) v Marcus Campbell (Sco)

Ronnie O'Sullivan (Eng) v Liang Wenbo (Chn)

is the draw

so Higgins in theory plays King in Rd 2 etc

Looking at the toughest and weakest quarters. Think Ding Junhui's is the weakest quarter/possibly Maguire's, and the bottom one with Ronnie and Selby the toughest

Jamie Burnett & Maguire 'reffered to prosecutors'.  What does that mean?

There is a radio debate on radio 5 now Chip, Clive Everton just admitted that many events over the years have been suspicious games. The Strathclyde police investigation into the Maguire v Burnett game has reched a conclusion and 5 people including the 2 players are being referred to the crown prosecution service to face criminal charges.
