So I spoke in my last "general" thread about my bet sizings with 15-25bbs, all the info was great and defo improved because of it. I've started playing a few larger touraments and thus the players have improved alot, so I need to adapt, the next thing I'm looking at is defending 2.5x raises when I'm in the bb.

I know it will differ depending on stack sizes, but generally when MTT players start to 2.5x it's later in the tournament, thus shallower stacks. So with 40-60bbs, how often should we be defending 2.5x raises? What hands should we be defending with?

I think I am a good handreader and understand board textures, so I think my post flop game is pretty good, although like everybody who is learning I can sometimes make mistakes that dint my stack significantly.

Also on the opposite side of the hand, at what level in MTT's should we start to change from 3x'n to 2.2-2.5xn, are we going by stack size or blind levels, or a combination of the two?

Thanks again, Pleno1.
