I'm going to say that Gordon Brown just sounds tired and resigned. Clegg already sounds a bit shallow, bit samey and a bit irrelevant imo.

It was closer than that but I agree, Clegg was weaker than the other two by far.......

Cameron seemed unable to actually answer a question.

Clegg seemed a bit out of his depth.

Brown seemed to know what he was talking about. Whether he's right or not I don't know but he came across best from the three in my biew. Smile at the end was so bad tho

Clegg was left out as Brown and Cameron went at it. Less tv time is bad. Brown did better than Cameron but as he is the man in power and it's tough times as well as not having a polished veneer Cameron probably wins the debate polls.

Maybe it's a generational thing or a pre-disposition on my part but I got where Cameron was coming from.

Nick Clegg gives me no clue of what he really stands for and just standing there huffing and puffing about 'old' parties, 'old' politics just doesn't do it for me.

I hate the labour party because they are not socialists - except in the worse sense of creating huge state bureaucracies - but, are they for the common man, not on yer nelly imo

I think my desire to see labour gone just lends me to viewing Cameron quite positively at the mo'

That's standard, people see the positive in what they want to hear. There was even people on here in previous weeks thinking Brown came out top which was totally lol. He did better this week, but for the last two weeks he was crap and it was just people listening what they want to hear from the person they want to win, nothing more. Brown has no chance of winning, I just hope he doesn't make it to a hung parliament.

Cameron looked fresh, the other two looked knackered

Under scrutiny a lot of LidDem policies are really weak...the Amnesty on Illegal Immigrants and VAT on new homes in particular.

Quite odd to see Cameron going at Clegg while Brown was left on the sidelines

Wouldn't object to strong swings to Lib Dems in traditionally strong labour seats

I genuinely had no idea at the start of the campaign where my vote would be going this time but tonight's debate has gone a long way in helping me decide. I had seriously been considering voting Lib Dem for the first time ever but tonight's debate has opened my eyes to some Lib Dem policies I was unaware of.

As for VAT on new homes that's just crazy talk.
