think its just a pretty standard pokerstars form which they fill out for you once you cash, on which one of the questions is what tip u want to leave rather than them taking the piss begging for tips.

I went to a club in Mayfair this weekend and
our first round of drinks was £615
. When I paid it on my card, our Polish hostess said 'and what about my tip?'
I wouldn't have minded if she asked in a cheeky way or said something like 'and you can buy me a drink' or 'dont forget me' but the direct asking for money shit didn't sit well with me and [ ] she got tipped at the end of the night.
lol what did you expect - she obv pegged u for a mug.
What a clown you never even asked him how many people were in the round and what the round was, Most clubs will have a min spend per table of £500 for 6-8 people and with the table you will get vodka, Rum brandy fruit juice and some mixes, so imo stick to your happy hour down the local and let people spend money how they want

Coming from a dealers perspective here, just to put a new angle. However I am a player too, and have cashed multiple times while working at DTD, so can see both sides.
Dealers arent paid much, and rely on tips as a boost to your wage. Its a pretty vital boost tbh, because Im pretty sure wages are less BECAUSE we get tips, therefore the employer drops the loss in their pocket and has an excuse for it.
Ill be honest, I agree with the OP (and general view) on this topic. Tipping should be top 3 normally, however personally, Id leave a tip no matter where I cashed (Im literally the most ridic tipper in the world, I cant even help it lol). The top 3 are the ones who make the most profit etc. As a player, I know full well why a min casher doesnt tip. From a job perspective, I just care about how much I get at the end of the week/month. Lets be honest, everyone would. I found it annoying when dealers pushed for tips, but now, being on the other side, I know why they do it. Not that Im condoning it
.
Its pretty frustrating when someone wins a comp and just walks off. Now I know tipping is voluntary and such, but sometimes people dont even KNOW about tipping in poker. Some people have to be poked that little bit, purely because they have no idea. That said, an event like the UKIT shouldnt have to be pushed for tips, especially from min cashes.
As a dealer, I dont take responsibility when someone takes a bad beat and blames me. I always tell them Im a random number generator and have no influence on the cards (this is true), and feel exactly the same way when Im shipping a big pot into someones lap. I dont see cash game tips as a thank you to me for rigging the deck and winning them a hand, I see it as a thank you for my professionalism and competence as a dealer, and therefore never push at a cash table.
I probably just rambled here, but meh, I enjoyed it
This sure is allowed!!

I really can't get my head around this idea of tipping someone because they're only on minimum wage and did a good job.If this it how it should work every time they get your order correct in McDonalds you should tip but nobody does, why? Also if you are playing the event via a freeroll and work in a minimum wage job do you still have to tip? 90% of the time I tip a taxi driver unless he pisses me off or I'll tip a waitress in a bar (obv never a waiter, ldo) but I'd also do the same to someone who was multiii if there was somehow a situation where I could tip them for doing something for me.People choose to do minimum wage jobs because for one reason or another that's the option they've had to take, people who maybe have more money shouldn't be guilt tripped into giving some of their money away.

After making an utter fool out of yourself in your Rush Poker thread, I would have thought you would have resisted the urge to do it again.
