Live 1-2 cash game on a Tuesday evening, I.E not many drunken fish in game, there is a couple unpredictable chinese guys, a couple dodgy russian guys that are constantly reminded English only at the table, one or two good players and a couple of generic limp/call//c/f fish. I have a stack of around £235 and only been at the table for around 40 minutes, 1/2 orbits. Game has seen everybody limp and lots of flops, which is fine by me as I think I have strong post flop edge vs these players. Obv I am iso raising in correct situ's but alot of the time it's silly iso raising to anything less than 6bbs as you get calls from both players behind you and original limpers so hard to play inbetween player. Everybody in the game has £200+ but nobody on more than £600. Havn't seen any AIPF..

Ok to the hand, we are playing 9 handed and utg straddles to £4, there are 4 callers and I call on the button with
The blinds both call and then the UTG a kind of dodgy Russian guy that is scared to put money into the pot but likes to build pots, raises £5 more. 3 hands ago he raised to £11 pre flop w/JJ and proudly turned them over when the table turbo mucked. All four players call and there is now £60 in the pot by the time it comes back to me. Obv I am never folding, but thoughts on shoving?

Russian guy has around £250 and constantly keeps counting his stack putting £200 to one side and then £50 to the other side trying to make the 50 with smaller denomination chips and his "original stack" is built up on £10 and £5 chips.

You got excitement by the sssqqqquuuuuuueeeeeeeezzzzzzeeee didn't you!

What range do you give Russian chap to call with, thats really the only question you need to answer.

With money already in pot you need about 42-45% or have I mis-read?

Anyway, dont think A8 is 40% V a lot, your either 30/70 - 50/50 - 60-40

I know you're going to say live donks can't handread etc but you've limped behind a billion players on the button, you can't ever have a really strong hand here imo. Anyone with half a hand is going to call you. Even to bad players it really looks like you're trying to nick this one.

I like it much more if your stack is a bit shorter like £100-£150 but I think we have too much to make this profitable.

+ Russian donko could easily have AA/AK/KK/QQ etc. He's only made the raise so small cos he's terrible. The other reason is that he just wants to potbuild and gambool obv. Just do a cawl imo.

Call, make a flush, get stacks in with 100% equity. Might understand you shoving 67s here but not A8s.

oh, thought it was more the other way round? i wanna be in a multiway pot with 67 as a8 has lots of reverse implied odds. i guess i can make the nuts with a8ss. I basically thought of 30% rule and didn't think anyone could call.

I looked at Russian guy for a while, asked him how much he had. Table laughs abit, he sais it doesnt matter if you put me all in I'll fold. I ask dealer for a count and he has £250

what are the table like in a straddled pot???
are they like limp and see a flop in a straddled pot?

personally i would of raised in the button. 25 ish

I dont think casino donks can adapt to the straddled pots that well. and they kinda play face up post flop

I  think that casual chinese players are redic bad and sometimes go gambling madddddddddddddddddd if you do that a couple of times to them.
