i remember people telling us that we were meeting at some place in the morning - a pool hall or something, paying a taxi driver £5 to take us there from the hotel only to arrive and find the place closed. "i wondered why you wanted to come here" the taxi driver told us "its been shut for a few weeks now". Yeah great - thanks for telling us that before we set off, handing him another £5 to take us back to the hotel

haha, i remember when Trumper won the first one, he also did the double that year, the £30 Oxford cup, we nick named him the "£30 FO Specialist" as he won bugger all else on our DTD Tour that year. Fun times, i feel the BP community is moving nearer to those good old days with lots more poker related posts and plenty of activity on the site nowadays, and dare i say it, not as many anonymous jockeys (who none of us have probably ever met), coming on here, and posting rubbish, moaning and bickering, very good job Tighty and Mods, easily the best UK forum by a million miles and hopefully the Blondebash will be as much fun as the others

i love blonde bash 1 when you shoved my chips accross the line while i was hollywooding before i folded after mel lofthouse shoved all in on me, and your face when you sent me to the bar to buy a round and i came back for more money as the £50 note wasnt enough to buy all the random blondes you bought a drink for pure quailty, oh and then there was the hotel bar bill (not guilty there ) and the scots boys all putting breakfast on my room
