Gryffles, nice post. I meant in an online world strange.

I like the facility myself, has been a help in long sessions of cash against the same opponents on Stars.

Cheers.

I just busted out of a sit and go with 47, AND IT WAS SOOTED.
On the flop I had a flush draw and an open ended straight draw!
I go all in, the other guy calls and flips over AA, the turn comes an ace, not to worry, the mighty 47s will carry me through! but fate dealt me a seven on the river and out I went.

Where do we sign up to start a class action suit against Brian Wilson?

Oh dear, you have missed the point. See the discussion on another thread, the suited 47 is nothing but an impostor out there to cause mischief. Only the 47 off is the true nuts.

Ouch  Cheesy

However if it were not suited the calculation of certainty would be beyond mere mathematics. Just one of those things. Show me a Supreme Being and he will give you the worked out theory QED.

It ain't just stars that lets you see mucked hands at showdown folks.
Get poker tracker and pokerace HUD and you don't even need to dig thru the HH, it flashes it up for you.

Its not that strange, in most places ( non uk ), as long as someone has called a river bet you are entitled to request to see their hand and they must show it, of course thats pretty bad form, slows the game down and is annoying, so you don't see it much live, but a player is entitled to do so.

Pokerstars basically does this, "if you want to see you can", its not overt and you have to go out of your way to do it, but its a very useful tool over people, as many players live and online are unaware of this and you have a nice advantage over people as you can write more advanced notes etc.

now what if "someone" shares online acct w/ their friends ( we swap accts and play under each others screen names) who play "tight and right" poker, do notes always help or can they be a disadvantage sometimes?Huh??

I'm not sure that's allowed - but what the heck - I'll swap accounts with you.......I'd like entry to the Deauville and Monaco comps please.  in return I'll play tight on line and confuse your enemies (although I think they are already confused)
