I saw Laak when he was at 80 hours and had broken the record. He looked he was having a tough time of it!
I have just under 40 hours a couple of times and it isn't easy. I think instead of worrying about what game and trying to invent a new one etc you should be focussing on how impossible it is to beat 115 hours!
My god the man speaks sense!!
Can't people die if they stay up for even just 4 days?
This
People die sleeping, and crossing the street and doing extreme activitys too!
Yes true, but everytime you partake in these activities you increase the chance of dying. Obviously this correlates with the chances of dying with the specific activity.
Crossing the road has less chance of dying per event than bungee jumping for instance, so you can't really put them into all one category and put across a point in such a way.
So yes, people do die doing most activities but the chances of you dying doing each activity aren't the same, if you perform a high risk activity then you are going to be increasing the chance of a fatality in relation to a lower risk activity.
I just don't think you could compare such a serious matter of staying awake where underlying heart conditions and other general health risks can come in to play as much as "crossing the street"
It's simply not a fair comparison to say that "people die crossing the street" as if it has an equal chance of happening as staying awake for 4 days. The circumstances and variables differ far too dramatically to be able to compare the two.
