I am trying to work out correct calling ranges in the following situation.

final two tables MTT, or final table

the Opponent is pushing very wide, showing some of these when uncalled, and has binked when called.

You have an average/slightly below average stack

You know you are being bullied, as is the rest of the field

However he has a stack that covers you, but he'll keep doing it

In this particular instance 5 are paid, 8 are left

322,000 in play

Opponent 50,000

Hero 25,000

blinds 1-2k with 200 antes, 30 minute clock

Opponent pushes all in UTG. Nothing new here

You look down at  in mid position

You fold.

He shows

Against this type of opponent what sort of all-in calling range is correct please?

Should I prepared to downplay my usual thought which is "Get your chips in first, don't call them off"?

If he is repeatedly shoving as you say and we have an effective 9 bigs then Im looking to call with A8+ 66+ I thinkish.

the table dynamic and stack sizes are pretty important here - if he isnt chip lead and doing this utg - it is pretty bad.

As for you want to be shoving, not calling - dont dwell on that too much - just call with cards that are ahead of his range

I can pass AT here as he has shoved UTG - but if this is the 5th hand he has done it - then I am probs calling

obv the dynamic changes drmatically if we are on the bubble depending upon other stack sizes from an ICM perspective

Your position is important too. The fact he's pushed utg doesn't bother me. The fact I have players behind me does. That said, I think AT is toobig to fold here with your stack.

He is a top three stack, not chip leader

Assuming it's ****** I think that folding A 10 to him in this spot is not something i would consider. EVER. FACT. i would struggle to fold 10 3 tbh, if it is who i think it is. :-)

Occasionally though he will play a big hand like this, but weigh up the amount of times he actually has a hand rather than not then it's worth the gamble i feel. Oh, getting back to the question you asked, 66+ or A 10+, KQ/J/10 is massive v his range probably.

Sorry ******, may have just blown your solid image...

This is very much an area of the game I need to work on...facing aggressive bullying/calling ranges..undervaluing my hand versus his likely range. Probably need to revisit ICM stuff

I was concerned that I had 4 players behind, but of course the likelihood is none of them will have something to over-call 50k with.

This particular oppo is getting a lot shoved back at him.

For one he's obviously very bad. He's taunting you by showing what he's shoving with.

Any pair, KJ+, A6+, JQs+ all get reshoved in to his arrogant eyes.

If I run in to a big hand behind me it's just meh. If he happens to have the goods himself good luck to him.

The bar's not too far away whatever happens.

With a bit of luck you'll call him with A6 and he'll show KK. You'll bink running sixes and he'll moan like f**k!!! How can you call with that s**t?!?!?

You then get to smile and say "Spite call mate. Soz."

UTG shovemoney is obv a donk. Insta-snap fist-pump with jack high+ imo.
As for showing bluffs, distinct lack of class here. Was it USADennis?
