Looks like Celtic are signing Gary Hooper, any opinions on this fella other than Leeds were interested in him? Chompy, Tighty?
Good poacher type striker. Only 22 too. 50 goals in two seasons, one of those was getting promoted from League 1 but the second was a team struggling in the Championship.
I'd compare him to a Robbie Blake, Kevin Phillips type. Bigger than that physically but a talented player with a knack of scoring goals
Thanks, hopefully he settles, we're crying out for a goalscorer.

Looks like we've signed Campbell as long as he passes his medical, decent signing I suppose since where so weak at the back, hope it's only a one year deal but I think it's going to be two.

Taylor looks to be injured too. We have a slow centre half partnership in Collocini and Cambell but hopefully the experienced heads that we need.

It's not the fact they are English. It's the fact that they are proven Premiership players. Pay 30mil for Robinho and he doesn't settle in the league despite obviously being quality or pay 25mil for a player that you know can do it in this league (top assits in the prem last year)?
Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Berbatov, Keane and many others have gone for more than they are worth because they proved themselves in the league.

Campbell looked pretty quick last season. Much better player than when he was at Pompey imo.

I think the David James to Bristol city deal is done 2 yrs plus coaching.
Best ever signing if true.

Bit late for him to finally get some coaching, no?
