The Owen deal was never doing to happen. I don't think Welbeck will either. Probably a premiership team on loan or Rangers or Preston.

In the French youth team from a few years ago I genuinely thought he was better than Nasri and Benzema. Seriously in shock at this. I heard Liverpool were close to getting him yesterday and got all excited.

They are talking about a view to a permanent deal if the loan is successful in the region of £4 million.

He must have really pissed off some people to get the boot from both of the top 2 teams in France within a 3 year period.
