ty all again.  Sherrif, Barnsley was a funny one for me, me and my girlfriend knew we were booked in for thursday so I had to get the all clear off her for tuesday.  Cheesy

I think I'll remeber my 1st visit to Oakwell, lets just say it was a thoughful drive over the Woodhead pass.  As for the game, Barnsley were poor really, I cant see Dickinson being good enough for the Champ, is it Andy Gray past it?  If so you need a frontman I think.  Hume obviously will never be the same, racehorse with a broken leg etc...

Dawson for them is good yeah, Hammill was most lively for you, big year for him I think, in 18 months he could be playing League 2 football or Prem, its his choice, needs to buck up his ideas I think, not sure who Butterfield or Lovre are for you, but they were both poor.

As for Sheffield Wednesday last sat, my girlfriend came with me, so its fair to say my little boy has probs been to more Owls games than Shoelace already!  Cheesy

I much prefer Mellor, someone who'll keep his head down, work hard, not get carried away and score a fair few.

Last saturday off today and back on it from tuesday.  Colchester away to Rochdale today who I saw at Barnsley last tuesday.  2 draws from 2 so far, need to start turning these into wins.

Had the pleasure of attending 2 non-league games over the last week.  All the relative assessments needed seem to be teams down south, or northern teams playing away down south.  Think the next 3/4 fixtures are Walsall, Plymouth, Southampton, then Tranmere (they were at Dag & Red on sat), so we have some guys down south save me doing a monster round trip.  *Awaits the 1st one of the season*

I'll set the line at 0.5 to people who've been to this ground  Smiley

Bernard Manning is an honourary life member here too...!

Its Radcliffe Borough v Skelmersdale Utd, last tuesday night, 24th Aug.

A new line for this one, how many people have even been to a League of wales game?!  We'll go 2.5 for this one Cheesy

This was Newtown v Prestatyn Town on saturday, the 28th Aug.

The LoW is about Blue Sq North/South standard, crowds and facilities are about the same too.  I'm not sure how they can take steps to improve the league etc?  Theyve split it into a 12 league thing this year, like Scotland, splitting near the end, not sure how this will go.

Just looked on this article on the Welsh Premier website coincidentally.

Wolves have signed a young 17 year old lad from Airbus after he scored against them in a pre-season friendly so there is the odd one there.  Lee Trundle has gone full circle and is now back playing and scoring for Neath (he had offers from league 1 clubs, but loves being the big fish in a small pond).  Lots of ex-Wrexham/Cardiff/Swans players end up here too.
