What a sick job. Shame you have to watch the most boring team in L1.

Where in Chester are you? I was in Harbledown for a while right near the city centre.

Have you seen any Brighton games in past 3 years? Who has impressed you most?

Favourite stadium for atmosphere outside of the premiership?

Harbledown's in Canterbury, not Chester!!

Good questions though.

Have you ever watched a match and made a tip on a player and after your tip he was signed??

I could lie and say loads, but in simple terms, no.

I will go and watch a player only really after the club has seen something they like/heard off someone respected.  Me, along with 1/2 others will watch them in seperate games, form and opinion and give feedback.  In fact sometimes it can be difficult to say 'no thanks' on a player.  The easy option is to say 'did ok, watch him again', which is often true, but sometimes you have to say no good if thats what you've seen on 90 minutes, not of the pre-conception you have of a player you've seen on tv, heard he has a great left foot etc.  Its about fact mainly, sure through a little opinion in a teams strengths/weaknesses, but what you are watching is fact, ''can he come inside, can he look up in tight spots, can he organise his right back better than himself''.

A lower league player I went to watch last season, 3 times I went to watch him and his team-mate, each time I thought, get him in League 1 now, 18 months time he'll be in the Championship I thought.   Joe Bloggs from the club goes to watch him, ''worst League player I've been recommended to watch in a long time''.

Fair enough.  End of season he moves to a Champ side for 200k+.  Thats the way it goes sometimes, perhaps he played like a donkey on that day.  Signing players is perhaps more opinion than team assessments, the facts are still there, but the variance of seeing a player solely play 90mins are there.  watch him 10 times, highly likely your opinion will be more accurate.

my fave was at blackburn, it was incred.

Lasange @ Swansea.  Wink

Pie, umm, rarely have to be honest, not for wanting tho.  Chicken Balti at Oldham I remember fondly.

Balti pies at Villa are pretty good as well.

Chip butties at Hillsborough used to be the nuts, they were shit this season though.

Chipprince - do you have a second income then based on what you are saying and what is it/how do you juggle it?

Not quite sure what you mean by the Bolded piece, I watch different teams every week.

I lived in Westminseter Park which is walking distance from handbridge for 18 months, then last Nov I brought a house in Upton, by the zoo.

I saw Brighton at Hartlepool on easter Monday.  Harlepool won 2-0 and Poyet spat his dummy big style, boy does he love a sarcstic applause at the officials.  I think that day will live with him when planning for this season, Lee Hendrie started that day, tried to nutmeg a 6' 4'' CB, clack, sub please.  You can play your way out of League 1, but you've certainly got to be up for the fight too.  Might be a couple there who dont fancy cold midweek trips down to Yeovil, should be certs for top 10 though.

Satdium, Huddersfield in League 1.

Oh also, where abouts do you sit? Do you have to sit in the away end/press area/near the dugout etc?

Do the teams you visit do anything to make your job harder, ie put you somewhere with a restricted view to stop you scouting their players?
