Well done.
I feel kinda sad I missed being at your second result in person, I sort of assumed I'd be there for every min cash and stuff along the way to this result in what I always knew was your natural game. Shorthanded!
*sniff*
Cheeky.
Last three tournaments I've played (and probably the only ones I've played this year, other than the odd APAT event) I've managed to final table. Got to enjoy the variance whilst it lasts
I've always said it's a skill game.

Definitely.
With 6 players left I ran 55 into QQ (whoops) and it left me with less than 2BBs, and I'm in the BB next hand...with 56o. At least I'm live I thought. Not when he turned over A6. Still, it was a 50/50 flip, I either hit the 5 or I didn't. I did, of course.
Next hand all in again with Q7 this time, against Q6. Usually a chop. Not on a Q2325 board it isn't
.
Oh, I'll let Jakally tell you about the 'gift' I got earlier in the day, which then allowed me to double up considerably on the very next hand when the
on the turn gave me a full house and another fella the nut flush.
All skill...

He misread his hand?
Congrats Dan, moving up to £1/£2 NLHE?

I play the odd 1/2 cash game, but the way the game often plays the swings puts it outside my roll. However, they've started running 1/2 games that have a capped buy-in. Why this doesn't really affect my effective stack, it will mean that the capped game will play more like a 1/2 cash game, not the way a lot of the 1/2 games play at DTD. Was talking to Jakally about it, and he didn't like the idea, but suggested that a better option to place a game somewhere inbetween the .50/1 and 1/2 games at DTD would be a .50/1 game with a larger cap - maybe £200, and also allowing a limited straddle. That idea has its merits as well.
So the short answer is 'maybe'

This is just one big advert for DTD and how soft the games are right?!?
It was a quality field!! Big names such as Thewy, Nagi, Giblin, Stearn and Anon were in there!
Wow sick advert, to DTD there is valuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Confirmed sick value! Especially when I'm like 1/50 and still manage to finish outside the money.
