Utterly embarrassed by this one - BFC shoot themselves in the foot again

I'm pretty sure we can fill this thread with lots of good stuff over the season.

You're right Sheriff - terrible decision.

Not in the same scale - but Celtic selling vuvuzelas in the club shop didn't please me. They've been taken off the shelves now apparently.

Surely Barnsley would want him in simply because of the revenues generated at the pie stand.

Good shout, especially as I'm giving it a miss!

Signing Diouf not Anelka. The day Aldridge left. Trying to sign Barry over Alonso.

Surely no club can compete with Real Madrid for stupidity.

Sacking Bobby Robson;

We had a bad start to the season so we sacked him with no manager in line.

And it pains me to see Bobby Robson documentaries with him saying "After I was sacked from Fulham I swore never to be sacked again"

On 20 October 1976, Maradona made his professional debut with Argentinos Juniors, ten days before his sixteenth birthday.[1] He played there between 1976 and 1981, before his £1m transfer to Boca Juniors. Joining the squad midway through the 1981 season, Maradona played through 1982, and secured his first league winners' medal. Whilst playing for Argentinos Juniors, English club Sheffield United put in a bid of £180,000 for his services but the bid was rejected.

What acrually happened was we bid for two players, Maradona and Alex Sabella and were told that the asking price was X amount which meant we could only afford to sign one of them, we chose Sabella instead of Maradona.

This could be a long list:

Appointing Ray Harford as manager
Appointing Stewart Houston as manager
Appointing John Gregory as manager
Sacking Paolo Sousa
Sacking Ian Holloway
Buying Vinnie Jones
Not getting rid of the Thompsons 5 years earlier
Allowing Chris Wright to run the club
Allowing Gianni Paladini within 20 miles of Loftus Road
Buying a whole stack of Chelsea rejects

Enough? I could go on.
