Ive always had a little soft spot for Stacey
Me too, it's a bog down Fosse Meadows.
Tom!
I dont ever think I have had a bad word to say about you, but your pushing it. Dont disrespect the lovely little cockney.
There are only two places for Stacey Slater, either on my arm or in my basement.
I live in an all female environment. I have to watch the same episode of Eastenders on Sky+ at least 3 times a night.
WTF is up with the story lines anyway? Someone can be a murderer one week, an adulterer the next, amd the week after that it's all forgiven and forgotten.
Also, why are all the characters permanently miserable or angry?
And don't get me started on the omnibus editions.....

Ha ha this thread is taking some monumental subject swings!
I rarely watch Eastenders so cant comment too much on the story lines, saw a little bit where Lucas had turned into a psycho.
I am only commenting on the quality of the feisty little Miss Slater.
My personal problem is Hollyoaks.
Its tosh, absolute garbage. The writing is terrible. The acting is even worse. Some of the characters are so unbelievable and annoying I actually want to hunt them down in real life.
But i still get home and sit there and watch todays and then tommorows, then the day after the one ive already seen and the next days.
Manage to avoid the omnibus though!
Will we be seeing you anytime soon Tom?

The thing that tilts me is how dismissive people are of getting jobs that might require them to use a car or public transport. If someone loses their job in the garage they work in the Vic or buy the cafe instead of getting a jobs paper to find a new job in a garage. Flippin daft it is

Not right away.
Mrs Red & I are taking my little van and buggering off around Europe for a few weeks. Nothing fancy, some nights in hotels or B&Bs (When we find cheap ones) other nights sleeping in the van. (It's not too bad, we have a double bed, a DVD player, plenty of books and some folding chairs for sitting in the sun when we stop for lunch)
We are sailing Dover to Bologne, then taking a steady drive to Berlin by whatever route takes our fancy. There are a few things I want to see in Berlin - Checkpoint Charlie, The remains of the wall, the Brandenburg gate, one or two galleries & museums etc.....
Then we're going to leave the van in Berlin and take the sleeper train to Krackow. We'll be staying there for a few days, paying our respects at Auschwitz and visiting one or two other places, then, train back to Berlin and if there's time, I'd quite like to drive home via Switzerland / the Alps.
Pretty pedestrian stuff by most people's standards, but we'll enjoy it.
